Zantel the most innovative and fastest growing brand in Tanzania today has introduced the first of its kind Champion Program in the region whereby all its call centre agents are part of a customer experience imitative to professionally mold them into skillful service providers. The aim of the Champion Program is to offer on the job training for these call centre agents in order to improve their skills sets in customer experience, sales and marketing as part of their career growth. Ahmed Mokhles, Zantel Chief Commercial Officer said the aim of starting the Champion Program is to integrate the call centre into a revenue stream. “The Champion Program provides an opportunity for call centre agents to upsell Zantel products and services and thus earn an extra income. The champions will also undergo regular trainings in best practices on customer experience, sales and marketing equipping them with the right skills to join other departments in the organization within a year.” confirmed Mr. Mokhles. In conjunction with the Human Resources department best champions will be selected and offered positions in various departments ensuring they grow with the company and become future managers.
