Frank
Kapeta from Dar es Salaam, is an active member of Children Council and
member of the Young Reporters Network. He recently participated in the
launch of the Save the Children’s No Child Born to Die Campaign in
Tanzania which seeks to tackle hunger and malnutrition.
Frank
presented his Council recommendations to the Parliamentary Committee.
He is responsible for nutrition development and children. He
experienced malnutrition when he was younger and he vows to do all he
can to help other children realize their potential. The main purpose of
his trip to the UK was to attend the Hunger Summit at 10 Downing Street
which took place on Sunday, 13/08/2012 at 04.00pm. He represented
children from across the world and presented the Prime Minister David
Cameron and other world leaders with baton in the race against hunger
with message for them to make hunger a priority in 2013. Frank is 15
years old. He is articulate and passionate young man.
