Serengeti Premium Lager has been awarded yet another gold medal for 2012 from DLG, an international leading testing organisation, for its high quality standards.
DLG is Germany-based highly respected organisation which shares knowledge and expertise worldwide with leading international practitioners, experts and other specialist organisations.
The DLG gold medal is awarded for a duration of 24 months.
The award winning news was gladly received by senior officials at Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL), who expressed their confidence in the great brand, which has now won its third gold medal from DLG, in addition to several others from Monde Selection.
“Great result for Serengeti!,” remarked Colman Hanna, SBL plant Manager for Dar es Salaam. “Congratulations!!” said Frank Mrazek, SBL Plant Manager for Mwanza.
“I would like to congratulate Master Brewer Colman Hanna, Donani Ritte of our Dar Brewery, and Supply Chain Director Mark Taylor, for this delightful recognition as I do know that consistent quality results are always a matter of great team effort”, said Ephraim Mafuru, the Director of Marketing at SBL.

The brand has been consistently winning awards in global competitions, a testimony to its outstanding quality, taste and refreshment.
East African Breweries Ltd (EABL), a subsidiary of multinational brewing company, Diageo, acquired majority stake in SBL in 2010. Since the acquisition, SBL products have been winning consumers’ confidence and are placed among the top brands in the market.
